Wigan Battalion League And Cup winners in the 1978/79 season with proud Captain Neil Thompson. How many others can you name?

Call the fashion Police, imagine turning out now dressed like this! Taken at the Ridgeway Arms, Blackrod in 1985, I can still remember what was number one: "Papa Don't Preach" by Madonna. Will Anchor Disco return in 2002? Watch this space. I don't know if David Titley remembers this about this night but I think we could have played "Lady In Red"  about 12 times because of all the requests for it, but I couldn't abide it! Judging my my clothes I think "Daz" should have sponsored me! Happy days, though.

A promotional photo shoot at Wigan Pier in 1987

A cold day in Bryn in December 1973. My white boots (bottom right) were trendy, about three years before!

Below are happy "Silver Jubilee Queensmen" pictured in Preston in 1977. Our Company had three on the front row from left to right, Keith Richardson, Barry Barton and Andrew Hunt. Just look at those flares baby!!
